About The Role
As a Service Account Manager, you will operate from a home office and be responsible for:
- Acting as the primary contact for key customers, handling technical and commercial enquiries relating to equipment.
- Conducting business review meetings with assigned customer base, addressing any open tickets in the system.
- Responding to incoming requests for spare parts quotations from a diverse range of French customers (95% of enquiries are email based) ensuring each is followed up in a timely manner.
- Attending customer visits to support with systems sales enquiries and aftersales support. (20% travel)
- Utilising the SAP system to provide customers with pricing and stock availability of spare and replacement parts.
- Handling and processing customer orders.
About You
Experience working in a customer interaction role such as Sales, Account Management, Customer Support, After-sales Support or Product Support in an engineering / technical business is essential as is a strong order management background with effective organisation and communication skills. It would also be beneficial if you have experience of SAP or another similar ERP software.
To fit this profile, you will have the ability to retain technical information and possess an advanced level of English and French. Due to the nature of the role, it’s also essential you have strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work.
Other key skills include:
- Competent use of Microsoft Office, Outlook & CRM / ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle etc.
- Comfortable building relationships with customers.
- Organised with a desire to learn.
- Good attention to detail.
- Comfortable travelling within France (20% of your time).
- Valid driving license and rights to work in France (sponsorship is not provided)
