About The Role

In an autonomous position, you will spend your time working from home and visiting both existing (80%) and new clients (20%) to manage their conveyor needs.

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will spend your time selling into a wide range of markets across the UK, with a bias towards distribution centres. You will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and developing existing customer relationships.
  • Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, clients, and partnerships.
  • Reviewing customer requirements and specifying potential solutions.
  • Preparing quotations by collating, analysing, and summarising customer information.
  • Generating technical plans and liaising with manufacturers to obtain specification approval.
  • Supporting customer needs throughout the entire sales process to meet delivery times.
  • Overseeing product installation with the installation team if required.
  • Managing an annual turnover of £1M.

About You

To be successful, you will have a minimum of 5 years of sales experience specifying conveyor solutions/systems.

Direct experience selling system solutions into warehouse and distribution markets is essential.

An Engineering or related technical qualification would be beneficial, but not required.

  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to make tough decisions.

This role will also require a Full UK Driving License.
