POSITION

Reporting to the Marketing Manager you will be involved with a diverse range of duties which include,

  • Working closely with the Product, Technical and Sales Managers to provide marketing communication support and deliver objectives.
  • Positively influencing the brand image through a variety of marketing and PR channels.
  • Providing marketing communication support for new product developments.
  • Creating and executing marketing communication plans in collaboration with the global communications function.
  • Spending approximately 20-30% of your time travelling to other office locations within the UK and Europe.
  • Representing the communications department on project, sales and marketing meetings.
  • Working alongside other team members including the graphic designers.
  • Executing advert planning in line with the activity plan and positioning of the business.
  • Creating press releases and articles.
  • Realising free publicity.
  • Organising theme days, open days, study meetings and trade fairs.
  • Creating text for various means of communication including Websites, Social Media, Blogs, Intranet, Newspapers, Newsletters and Brochures.
  • Briefing external copywriters and communication bureaus.
  • Offering support regarding the development of frame works for deploying means of communication, such as internet, intranet, general and product specific brochures, email and social media.

PERSON

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you MUST:-

  • Be educated to a degree level within Agriculture, Marketing, Business, Journalism or an affiliated area.
  • Have a minimum of 2-3 year experience within Marketing Communications.
  • Have an interest in rural affairs, countryside living, agriculture or the equestrian sector.
  • Be highly organised with a great attention to detail.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess the ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Be enthusiastic, driven, hardworking and keen to get involved with new tasks.
