Following a sustained period of growth and a drive for continuous improvement across the business, my client now wishes to recruit a talented and ambitious UK Driver Training & Compliance Manager to join their team.
Reporting to the UK Logistics Director you will be responsible for:
- The development, training, recruitment and disciplinary of a team of driver trainers based throughout the UK.
- The effective management of a training and labour budget.
- Creating specific training material and gaining Jaupt approval.
- Improving transport compliance and performance from a driver perspective in areas such as fuel economy, customer service, H&S, vehicle incidents and driver & vehicle interaction.
- Ensuring the company’s legal and compliance requirements are adhered to with regards to training.
- Maintaining a high quality of training records.
- Improving service levels and ensuring delivery to driver training objectives.
PERSON
Applicants MUST possess a minimum of 2 years proven experience managing a team of Driver Trainers on a regional or national basis.
The role requires visibility in the business and therefore the successful candidate must be flexible to travel across the UK.
It is essential you are CPC qualified and possess professional driving qualifications such as RoSPA or DSA Instructor /Driver Assessor.
Other qualifications that would be highly beneficial include, Train the Trainer and Safe & Fuel Efficient Driver Instructor (SAFED).
