The Brief
An industrial power systems supplier approached us to recruit a Service Engineer to support large-scale projects across Saudi Arabia. The business required specialist engineering support for critical infrastructure, industrial, and energy-related installations.
Previous hiring attempts in Saudi Arabia had produced candidates with general electrical backgrounds but limited experience working on large-scale power systems or within demanding site environments. With multiple active projects underway and response times under scrutiny, the client needed a reliable, site-ready engineer who could step in quickly and operate with minimal supervision.
The Process
We worked closely with the service leadership team to define both the technical and behavioural requirements of the role. Beyond electrical and mechanical competence, the client needed an engineer with strong fault-finding ability, resilience, and a disciplined approach to safety and compliance in challenging site conditions.
Our search targeted Service Engineers with experience working on generators, backup power systems, and complex electrical installations across Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East. As part of our process, all shortlisted candidates completed behavioural assessments to evaluate reliability, problem-solving under pressure, and suitability for autonomous site-based work.
A shortlist was submitted within three weeks, with interviews, assessments, and offer acceptance completed within six weeks.
The Result
The client successfully hired a Service Engineer with extensive experience installing, commissioning, and maintaining industrial power systems in Saudi Arabia. The new hire reduced response times, improved service reliability, and provided immediate stability across ongoing projects.
