The Brief
A UK-based aerospace supplier approached us to find a Field Service Engineer for their test and measurement equipment, used by aircraft manufacturers and MRO providers. They had previously advertised the role directly but attracted applicants with little experience working to aerospace compliance standards or operating in production environments.
The Process
We spoke with the Service Director to outline the requirements — hands-on service experience with RF test rigs, vibration platforms, and avionics calibration tools, as well as comfort working on airside and within EASA/CAA-regulated environments.
Our search was focused on engineers with experience across aerospace OEMs, calibration labs, or avionics servicing firms. We ensured each shortlisted candidate had the right blend of technical capability, documentation discipline, and client-facing professionalism.
A shortlist of three strong profiles was submitted, each fully vetted for hands-on experience, flexibility to travel, and aviation compliance.
The Result
The client successfully onboarded a Field Service Engineer with previous experience supporting test rigs for Tier 1 aerospace manufacturers. The process was completed in just over two weeks.
What the Client had to Say
“We’ve had hires in the past who weren’t ready for the aviation world. This time, Mase absolutely nailed it — we got someone who could walk onto a hangar floor and deliver from day one.”
