The Brief
We were approached by a metrology manufacturer to act as a recruitment partner for its Global Marketing Director position based in the UK. The client was a market leader within the instrumentation field and engaged us on a retained search basis after numerous failed attempts at filling the role with other recruiters over the last six months.
The Process
Together, we agreed a detailed hiring strategy including an advertising campaign, headhunting and a comprehensive database search as well as networking our industry contacts. We provided a candidate screening service, followed by an in-depth interview process, and the result was a shortlist of three potential candidates who met the client brief. We organised for all three to meet with the client, managed the interview process and assisted with the final selection, ensuring clear communication throughout.
The Result
Having fully understood the client’s needs from the off, delivery was quick and efficient. The candidate who secured the position was submitted to the client within 6 working days and offered the position within 20 working days of the client initiating our services. The candidate not only went on to a distinguished career, but is still with the client today. We have since become the client’s recruitment partner of choice and delivered several key assignments across the group.
